What does this car say about you?

I'm not interested in what a 'car says about you' and people that do need to get a life. Given that unless you buy a supercar they'll be loads of the same on our roads. I suppose it says that we're sheep.

What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?

Nothing really unless you include your teenage son's comment of "it's alright".

Would you buy this car again and why?

No because we'll need to replace our estate car in a couple of years with something as large. The polo serves the purpose of a nice second car.

What are you likely to buy next?

Another Mondeo or similar estate. Not a SUV ......I'm not interested in a car on stilts.

Did you get a good deal and why?

It was a good deal mainly because the first owner was Hertz. Some would be put off by this but it was of no consequence to us. A VW dealer would have demanded at least a grand more - but I suppose someone has to pay for all that plate glass and 'free' coffee.

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?

Needed to replace my wife's previous car.

What was the dealer like?

The dealer was very helpful. He ensured that the car was valeted and serviced to a high standard. The car still has 8 months VW warranty left so that also gives some peace of mind.

What's it like to drive?

Quite nippy for a 1.4 with a big-car feel inside. Nice interior gives the impression you're driving something much more expensive.

What's it like to park?

Very easy after a Ford Mondeo!

Have you had any problems with the car?

Nothing wrong with it at all - virtually like a new car which some other mug has taken the initial depreciation on.

What's most practical about your car?

Flat load area with the back seats down unlike some of it's more popular competitors.

Favourite gadget, option or accessory?

The Bluetooth function and chilled glovebox.
