Peugeot 306 Hatchback (93-01) - Review Review by Parkers on 01 January 1993 The 306 was always justifiably popular thanks to its excellent handling and ride, sturdy construction and practical interior layout. It was never the most modern car in its class, but always a contender and one of the first of the modern diesels to be worth the smoke. A wide range of engines, bodies and equipment levels means that there is a 306 for almost everyone, from nofrills family hatchbacks to roomy estates, desirable sports models and elegant cabriolets. 3 out of 5 Other Peugeot reviews Summary Facts & Figures Equipment Driving & Performance Comfort Costs Safety & Reliability Buying & Selling Also Consider Company Car Info Owners' Reviews Gallery 3 out of 5 Comfort Rear legroom is adequate, as is headroom, but tall passengers are never quite at ease on a long trip. Seats are reasonably comfy (more adjustable on latter cars) and the ride quality is still good, even when fully laden. Considerable road and engine noise at speed. 3 out of 5 Practicality Good in its day, but overtaken in 1998 when Ford's Focus moved the goalposts. The choice of interior trim and fabrics could be better quality and they don't stand up to heavy long-term use. Get a Peugeot 306 Hatchback valuation How does the boot space compare? Driver's seat is comfy, but taller drivers need more headroom (especially with a sunroof fitted). Car Valuations Find used car prices with Parkers accurate car valuations.
