Peugeot 306 Saloon (94-99) - Review Review by Parkers on 01 January 1994 The 306 remains one of the very best small family ranges thanks to its excellent handling and ride, sturdy construction and practical interior layout. It is by no means the most modern car in its class, but it's still a contender. The saloon is rarer to find than the hatchback and estate mad often cheaper, too. 2.5 out of 5 Other Peugeot reviews Summary Facts & Figures Equipment Driving & Performance Comfort Costs Safety & Reliability Buying & Selling Also Consider Company Car Info Owners' Reviews Gallery 3 out of 5 Comfort Rear legroom is adequate, as is headroom, but tall passengers are never quite at ease on a long trip. Seats are reasonably comfy (more adjustable on latter cars) and the ride quality is still good, even when fully laden. Considerable road and engine noise at speed. 3 out of 5 Practicality Good in its day, but overtaken in 1998 when Ford's Focus moved the goalposts. The choice of interior trim and fabrics could be better quality and they don't stand up to heavy long-term use. Large boot, but can be difficult to access. Get a Peugeot 306 Saloon valuation 4 out of 5 Behind the wheel 306's design dates back to the early Nineties, so the fascia design and choice of materials doesn't compare well to today's cars, but everything is logically laid out and easy to find. Driver's seat is comfy, but taller drivers need more headroom (especially with a sunroof fitted). Car Valuations Find used car prices with Parkers accurate car valuations.
