Overview

If you’re looking for a modern saloon or estate that offers above average refinement and projects a mature, distinctive image, it’s hard to better the 406. Its strengths are class-leading standards of ride, comfort and handling, all wrapped up in spacious and attractive bodies. The scarce coupe is an exercise in understated elegance. If you can’t afford a 3-Series or C-Class but want something a cut above a Mondeo and Vectra, the 406 is a sound choice.
