Renault Clio Renaultsport (06 on) - Review

The standard Renaultsport Clio comes well equipped with a CD stereo, alloy wheels, air conditioning, cruise control, curtain airbags, front fog lights, electric windows, stability control and sports seats. The F1 R27 models get Recaro seats, extra tinted windows, F1 decals and unique Anthracite alloy wheels. Cup models are designed to be 'driver focussed' and save weight by sacrificing luxuries such as air conditioning although electric windows, ESP, an alarm plus a leather steering wheel and gear lever are included. In January 2009 a Lux version was introduced that comes with leather upholstery, automatic climate control, automatic headlamps, automatic wipers, cornering lights, extra tinted rear windows, Renaultsport carpet mats, brushed aluminium alloy wheels and air extraction grilles in the front wings. In May 2009 the trim levels were changed with Lexa trim being dropped from the line-up while there is no F1 R27 model and it has just been cut down to just two trim levels, the 200 and 200 Cup. Most of what was available with the Lexa trim now come as standard on the 200 model except the Recaro Seats which are now a £850 extra.
