Renault Espace (97-03) - Review Review by Parkers on 01 January 1997 This Espace is the third generation of the car that started the European people-carrier phenomenon back in the mid-1980s. Always a leader, it stays ahead of the current pack, with clever use of space, slick styling, improved ride, and better driveability, plus the safest body in its class. But the current generation has built a following among middle-class families with its chic looks and aerodynamic profile. It's not a cheap used buy, but it's worth every penny. 4 out of 5 Other Renault reviews Summary Facts & Figures Equipment Driving & Performance Comfort Costs Safety & Reliability Buying & Selling Also Consider Company Car Info Owners' Reviews Gallery 3.5 out of 5 Comfort Seats are firm, but supportive and there's plenty of room for a medium to large sized family.
