Renault Grand Scenic (09 on) - Review

The Grand Scenic comes well equipped with even the entry-level Extreme model getting front electric windows, air conditioning, trip computer, front and rear underfloor storage, a CD stereo, an auxiliary input for MP3 players, height and reach adjustable steering, keyless entry, ESP stability control, seven three-point seatbelts and Isofix child seat mounts. The Expression adds an automatic handbrake, front fog lights, electric rear windows, second row sunblinds and an alarm while the most popular Dynamique trim comes with cruise control, the hands-free Renault Card, alloy wheels, a leather steering wheel, Bluetooth, USB connection plus automatic headlights and wipers. The top Privilege model includes electric folding mirrors, rear parking sensors, dual-zone climate control, part-leather upholstery and a sliding centre storage unit. Options include the Comfort Pack which comes with an electric panoramic sunroof and a TomTom integrated navigation system. From February 2012 the trim range was cut to just Dynamique TomTom, with an optional Luxe Pack available on top. Dyamique TomTom models get 16-inch alloys, Bluetooth Connection, rear parking sensors, auto headlights and auto wipers, radio CD player with aux and USB connection, extra tinted rear windows and tailgate, TomTom sat-nav and LED daytime running lights. The optional Luxe Pack comes with 17-inch alloys, auto dual-zone climate control Bose sound system, electric folding door mirrors, sliding centre console, lane departure warning, auto dimming rear view mirror and choice of leather upholstery.
