Renault Laguna Hatchback (07-12) - Review

All Lagunas come with air conditioning, four electric windows alloy wheels and electronic stability control. Stepping up from Expression to Dynamique adds cruise control and front fog lights. Initiale models come with leather seats, standard electronic parking brake (optional on other models) and a six-CD autochanger. Satellite navigation and rear-seat DVD entertainment system are among the options available. GT models, introduced in Spring 2008, get 18-inch alloys, larger brakes, smoked rear lights, a larger front grille, aluminium gear lever and pedals plus leather and Alcantara upholstery. There’s also five models which are labelled TomTom – Dynamique TomTom, TomTom Edition, Dynamique S TomTom, Initiale TomTom and GT Line TomTom. All of these get the TomTom sat nav system, which allows users to navigate to where they want to go without having to use cumbersome maps while driving.

There’s a wide range of optional accessories available for the Renault Laguna. You can have metallic paint, an electric panoramic sunroof with sunblind, grey cloth upholstery, Bi-Xenon directional headlights, an emergency spare wheel, front parking sensors, a three-year subscription to the TomTom Live service and mapping for the same system for western Europe. There are also three option packs to choose from: Initiale Lux pack includes 18-inch alloys, BOSE sound system, black interior trims, electric folding and heated door mirrors, metallic paint, front parking sensors, electrically adjustable front seats and leather upholstery. The Comfort Pack includes dual zone climate control, automatic headlights, automatic parking brake, automatic rain-sensing wipers and sun visors with vanity mirrors. The Technology Pack contains TomTom Live navigation and multi-function tune point. Furthermore, you can get a nine-inch DVD-playing screen, boot-mounted rear spoiler, mats, ISOFIX seat mountings, mud flaps, boot organiser and cargo net.
