Rover 25 Hatchback boot space, practicality and safety

Considering the age of the underlying design, the 25 is reasonably safe. It gained a three-star Euro NCAP crash test rating, thanks to a new front end that gives better impact protection than the 200. It also has a larger airbag, seatbelt pre-tensioners, and ABS on 1.6 and 1.8 models. An alarm and an effective immobiliser are standard across the range.
Boot is big for small car, but interior cabin storage is a bit spartan – a glovebox and some drink holders in the door bins are about it.
