The old 900 was not very good. Solid and reliable, but not very good.

Running costs

Saab servicing and parts are on the high side, although there are plenty of cheaper specialists and there are more General Motors (Vauxhall) parts than before. Fuel consumption never gets higher than 30 mpg, although the impressive diesels do return over 40 mpg.
