SEAT Alhambra (00-10) - Review Review by David Ross on 26 January 2007 Last Updated: 12 June 2009 With a spacious cabin, seven seats and proven reliability, the SEAT Alhambra makes an ideal car for larger families. It's actually the sister car to the Volkswagen Sharan and the pre-2006 Ford Galaxy, so you can expect strong build quality and a robust interior. It may not be the newest design, but it's good to drive and comfortable, while the frugal TDI engines mean it can be a good choice if you're looking to keep running costs down. What really appeals, however, is the fact that it's such great value for money while all models come well equipped. This makes it a good buy - new or used. 3.5 out of 5 Other SEAT reviews Summary Facts & Figures Equipment Driving & Performance Comfort Costs Safety & Reliability Buying & Selling Also Consider Company Car Info Owners' Reviews Gallery Also Consider 3.5 out of 5 Citroën Grand C4 Picasso (07 on) Neat styling, family-friendly interior, fold flat seats, refined ride, spacious cabin Jerky semi-automatic gearbox, some cheap-feel interior plastic, LX models don't get a radio Read full review 4 out of 5 Mazda 5 (05-10) Neat handling, stylish looks for a people carrier, rear sliding doors, well equipped More a six-seater rather than a seven, small boot with all seats in use Read full review 4 out of 5 Renault Grand Scenic (04-09) Spacious family-friendly interior, plenty of storage, excellent diesel engines, can seat seven All seats don't fold flat, interior quality could be better in places Read full review Find other mpv cars Car Valuations Find used car prices with Parkers accurate car valuations.
