SEAT Cordoba (03-06) - Review

Review by Parkers on
The SEAT Cordoba is essentially an Ibiza with a large boot. It never really caught on it the UK as there’s not really a market for small saloons and there’s not much of an engine choice. However, the one petrol and two diesels are frugal, insurance is low and it’s unlikely to let you down, so if you’re willing to look past the dowdy image and limited versatility, you could pick up a great bargain.

Buying used

Most examples are still retained within the SEAT Approved Used network but dealers are looking to shift them off their forecourts, so bargains can be found with a bit of haggling. All Approved Used cars will undergo a multi-point safety inspection, plus a vehicle history and mileage check before sale. They also come with a year’s guarantee, European breakdown cover and roadside assistance. 1.4 petrol models are the cheapest and most popular Cordobas.

Selling

There’s not huge demand for the Cordoba, so selling it could be difficult. However, dealers may be willing to consider it in part-exchange while potential buyers could be tempted by a sale if you price it sensibly.
