Skoda Octavia Estate (98-05) - Review Review by Parkers on 01 January 1998 Octavia was the model that wiped the smile off the face of Skoda’s critics for good. It was the fruition of more than seven years of Volkswagen input and finally put paid to stale old Skoda jokes. The estate makes a fine family car - roomy, well equipped, attractive and available with a wide range of petrol and diesel engines. The load area is a decent size and really useful for anyone who's looking for a car that doubles-up as a dependable workhorse. 3.5 out of 5 Other Skoda reviews Summary Facts & Figures Equipment Driving & Performance Comfort Costs Safety & Reliability Buying & Selling Also Consider Company Car Info Owners' Reviews Gallery Also Consider 4 out of 5 Volkswagen Golf Estate (99-05) Quality, unrivalled interior, comfort, safety Passenger space, Passat is a better estate for similar money Read full review 4 out of 5 Ford Focus Estate (98-04) Looks good and drives well, plenty of space, ST170 is brilliant Pricey for what you get, sales rep image Read full review 3 out of 5 Vauxhall Astra Estate (98-04) Loads of interior space makes it very practical Ford Focus is much better Read full review Find other estate cars Car Valuations Find used car prices with Parkers accurate car valuations.
