Smart City Coupé (00-04) - Review Review by Parkers on 17 November 2005 Demand for this ultra-chic city car really took off when right-hand-drive models hit the market. Before that it was available in left-hand-drive and there are now a small amount on the used market. As a result, prices for the original left-hand-drive cars have fallen to tempting levels. Buyers are attracted to its economical tiny engines, ease of parking and the attractive cabriolet. On sale in the UK since 2000, the range was re-branded fortwo from the start of 2004. 4 out of 5 Other Smart reviews Summary Facts & Figures Equipment Driving & Performance Comfort Costs Safety & Reliability Buying & Selling Also Consider Company Car Info Owners' Reviews Gallery Also Consider 3.5 out of 5 Ford Ka (96-08) Still looks good, cheap to run, nimble around town, fun to drive Limited rear space, dated interior, lacks refinement, noisy on the motorway Read full review 3 out of 5 Daewoo Matiz (98-05) Style, space, equipment, cheap.
