Smart Crossblade (02-03) - Review Review by Dan Harrison on 17 November 2005 This mad roofless, door-less smart is not for the faint hearted. It's totally open to the elements and only comes in left-hand-drive. Unsurprisingly only a handful were sold to a few brave (although windswept and rain-lashed) Brits. This is a fantastic car if you live somewhere with year round good weather and you need something to whizz you to the beach but you'd have to be a motorcyclist to try running one as your only car in the UK. However no other car turns heads as much as a Crossblade in February. 2 out of 5 Other Smart reviews Summary Facts & Figures Equipment Driving & Performance Comfort Costs Safety & Reliability Buying & Selling Also Consider Company Car Info Owners' Reviews Gallery Also Consider 2 out of 5 Chrysler PT Cruiser Cabriolet (05-08) Eye-catching looks, exclusive, well equipped Restricted visibility, cheap interior, difficult to access boot, no diesel engine, looks ugly with the roof up or down Read full review 4 out of 5 Volkswagen Lupo (99-05) Fun to drive, cheap running costs, well made, sporty GTI version available Small boot, SEAT Arosa does same for even less money, noisy on the motorway Read full review Find other convertible cars Car Valuations Find used car prices with Parkers accurate car valuations.
