Subaru Forester (08 on) - Review

Standard kit levels are generous, but they should be given the price tag. The entry-level X model gets self-levelling rear suspension, steel wheels, four electric windows, 60/40 split rear seats with reclining back rests, climate control, CD stereo, heated front seats, cruise control and dual-range transmission on manual cars. The XC (only available with a diesel engine) has 17-inch alloy wheels, xenon lights, leather steering wheel and gear lever, steering wheel mounted stereo controls, and a single range six-speed gearbox. The higher-spec XS adds 16-inch alloy wheels, leather seats and steering wheel, a six-CD changer, sunroof, electric driver's seat and xenon headlights while the XSn adds satellite navigation.
