Toyota Previa (90-00) - Review Review by Parkers on 01 January 1990 The Previa is both huge and hugely impressive as a people carrier that first addressed the problem of where all the MPV occupants were going to put their luggage. Although buyers get a lot vehicle for their money, it's not such brilliant value for money when you compare specification, equipment and flexibility with many rivals. Only the GL initially got a driver's airbag and ABS brakes, although an electric sunroof is standard. The Chrysler Grand Voyager and Renault Grand Espace are its biggest rivals, but the Previa can still make an egg-shaped case for itself. Not surprisingly it seats eight! 3 out of 5 Other Toyota reviews Summary Facts & Figures Equipment Driving & Performance Comfort Costs Safety & Reliability Buying & Selling Also Consider Company Car Info Owners' Reviews Gallery 3.5 out of 5 Buying used The styling looked space age back in 1990 and has actually worn quite well, still being very distinctive. There is no mistaking what the Previa is designed to do and that is shift people. When used like a car it looks laughably empty. A lot more credibility than many other so-called people movers. Used prices are still quite expensive. See 1 used Toyota Previas for sale, starting at £1,495 3.5 out of 5 Selling Cheaper earlier cars are in demand from families looking for good value.
