Toyota Yaris Verso (00-05) - Review

Review by Parkers on
Yaris Verso delivers functionality and value for money in equal measures. Unfortunately, it looks like the hatchback of Notre Dame. Shame, because it's good to drive, surprisingly economical to run and should prove utterly dependable. As a tall mini-MPV it packs as much flexible load space as possible into a small car. The down side is an appearance that turns anyone who looks at it to stone.

Comfort

Hugely roomy and will carry four passengers with ease - this is where the unconventional looks pay off. Suffers more with wind noise than Yaris hatch.

Practicality

Offers exceptional interior space and rear seats fold totally flat. Rear door is side-hinged making access awkward in some circumstances.

Behind the wheel

Driving position can accommodate all sizes and give a commanding view of the road which also helps with manoeuvrability. And you can't see it from inside.
