Vauxhall Agila (00-07) - Review Review by Parkers on 02 March 2006 Although very similar to the Suzuki Wagon R+, the Agila has some key differences that means it's more than just a Suzuki with a Vauxhall Grille. Firstly it comes with 1.0-litre and 1.2-litre engines, whereas the majority of Wagon R+s are 1.3s, had different equipment levels and trims. It makes an effective urban runabout, but is outclassed on the motorway. 2 out of 5 Other Vauxhall reviews Summary Facts & Figures Equipment Driving & Performance Comfort Costs Safety & Reliability Buying & Selling Also Consider Company Car Info Owners' Reviews Gallery 2.5 out of 5 Safety Although the driver's airbag comes as standard, you have to pay extra for a passenger airbag on some early models and the general safety features of the Agila are a little sparse. Despite the boxy body seeming sturdy enough, there has been no Euro NCAP crash test as yet to fully test the Agila's safety credentials. Euro NCAP Provides motoring consumers with a realistic and independent assessment of the safety performance of some of the most popular cars sold in Europe. The original one-year warranty was a little miserly compared with the Suzuki equivalent, although since November 2001 all Agilas have had a three-year warranty.
