Vauxhall Astra TwinTop (06-10) - Review

The entry-level Astra TwinTop is only available with the 1.6-litre engine. It is fitted with electric windows front and rear, air conditioning, electrically adjustable and heated door mirrors, a CD player and Vauxhall's unique 'structure wheel' which looks like an alloy wheel but is actually a clever design with easily replaceable plastic covers. The Sport model adds 16-inch alloy wheels, a trip computer, steering wheel-mounted stereo controls and a remote control function for the roof. Design is the top trim level and adds 17-inch alloy wheels, a Sport switch to sharpen the steering and throttle response, automatic headlights and windscreen wipers, an anti-dazzle rear view mirror, pop-up roll-over protection bars (rather then the fixed hoops on other models) and a wind break. Leather upholstery and adaptive lighting that turns with the steering are optional.
