Vauxhall Corsa Hatchback (93-00) - Review

Review by Parkers on
Popular and practical supermini with two distinctive body styles - the five-door is the more spacious. Though it does not excel in any area, it's a sound all-rounder that is increasingly good value as buyers turn towards more modern cars. Power steering is most desirable and enhances the driveability of any Corsa.

Running costs

1.0i, 1.2i and diesels are very frugal indeed, each comfortably returning over 40mpg. Servicing and parts are cheap for the Corsa, too. Insurance groups are very competitive, too, especially for the smaller engine models: making Corsa a perfect proposition for young, first time drivers.
