Vauxhall Zafira (99-05) - Review Review by Parkers on 01 January 1999 This Astra-based seven-seater was Vauxhall’s surprise package upon its launch in 1999. Its innovative ‘Flex 7’ seat-folding technology was a forerunner for many of today’s flexible people carriers, putting it ahead of its peers in terms of use of space, while its compact size means it’s a good drive, too. Unfortunately, the ride is ponderous and the rear seats are for small children only, but Zafira is a great choice for the family buyer in need of practical versatility and a bit of fun. 4 out of 5 Other Vauxhall reviews Summary Facts & Figures Equipment Driving & Performance Comfort Costs Safety & Reliability Buying & Selling Also Consider Company Car Info Owners' Reviews Gallery Also Consider 4 out of 5 Volkswagen Touran (03-10) Excellent build quality, seven seats as standard, comfortable cabin, economical diesels Lacks the style of some alternatives, not very exciting to drive Read full review 2.5 out of 5 Citroën Xsara Picasso (00-10) Spacious cabin, big boot, good value for money Rolls through corners, imprecise steering, dated interior Read full review 3 out of 5 Nissan Almera Tino (00-05) Well equipped, nice to drive CVT automatic is awkward and indecisive Read full review Find other mpv cars Car Valuations Find used car prices with Parkers accurate car valuations.
