Volkswagen Bora (99-05) - Review Review by Parkers on 10 January 2006 Bora is a good all-rounder and injects some much-needed style into the small family saloon sector. It’s based on the Golf, so shares some its best attributes, like a pleasant interior, direct steering and some punchy PD diesel engines for performance and economy. The only thorn in its side is Seat's Toledo, which offers the same, while undercutting it on used market. 3 out of 5 Other Volkswagen reviews Summary Facts & Figures Equipment Driving & Performance Comfort Costs Safety & Reliability Buying & Selling Also Consider Company Car Info Owners' Reviews Gallery 2.5 out of 5 Safety The old Golf scored four stars in the Euro NCAP crash test - a respectable score - and Bora should fare similarly by association.
