Volkswagen Caravelle (03 on) - Review

The entry-level model is the SE which comes with seven seats, ESP stability control, ABS, remote central locking, an alarm with two-away protection, two sliding side doors, body-coloured bumpers and mirrors, driver and passenger comfort seats with height adjustment and armrests, heated front seats, rear sunblinds on all side windows, a multi-function table, electrically adjustable and heated door mirrors, front electric windows, front fog lights, sports suspension, manual air conditioning, a trip computer, leather steering wheel and gear lever, a six CD changer plus 16-inch alloy wheels. The Executive adds climate control, rear privacy glass, leather/alcantara upholstery, electric sliding doors, cruise control, automatic lights and wipers and a centre armrest on the rear seat bench. The V6 gets 17-inch alloys. The special edition Startline, introduced in 2009, is a cheaper model and gets unique upholstery, air conditioning, rubber floor covering and steel wheels.
