Volkswagen has returned to the original name for its family saloon, relegating the previous Vento and Bora names to history. While the Golf influence is obvious from the front and from behind the wheel, the rear has much in common with the upmarket Passat. The Jetta is good to drive in all its engine variations, and can squeeze three passengers into the rear quite comfortably. It has a huge boot and is quite handsome, but still won't hold its value as well as an equivalent Golf.
