Volkswagen Touran (03-10) - Review

Entry-level S models come with ESP (Electronic Stabilisation Programme), ABS, traction control, dual front and side airbags, curtain airbags for first and second row passengers, three-point seatbelts for all passengers, air conditioning, remote central locking, front electric windows, a CD stereo, Isofix child seat anchor points, cruise control, chrome roof rails, height and reach adjustable steering column, driver’s seat height adjustment and 15-inch alloy wheels. The SE adds an alarm, rear electric windows, tinted rear glass, a dash-mounted CD autochanger, front seat lumbar adjustment and 16-inch alloy wheels. The Sport gets tinted rear glass, front fog lights, leather steering wheel, gearknob and handbrake grip, front sport seats with height and lumbar adjustment and climate control. From 2007 the Sport model gains parking sensors as standard, which can be upgraded to Park Assist automatic parking for a reduced fee. The Bluemotion S has the same features as the S but with steel wheels instead of alloys and low rolling resistance tyres while the Bluemotion SE has the same equipment level as the SE.
