Volkswagen has revealed the latest version of its Transporter van range due to be launched in the UK in January 2010.
The Transporter is Volkswagen's best-selling commercial vehicle in the UK and has been completely revised with new styling and a new range of 2.0-litre diesel engines promising improved refinement and better efficiency.
The front end echoes the latest Volkswagen cars, such as Golf and Polo, while as well as a new dashboard design, the Transporter is also available with Volkswagen's latest audio and touch-screen navigation systems.
New features include a seven-speed DSG semi-automatic gearbox, lane-change assistant which warns of vehicles in the driver's blindspot, reversing aid camera and tyre pressure monitoring.
Prices are expected to start at about £15,000 excluding VAT and on-the-road charges.
