Volkswagen has unveiled a new look for its seven-seater Touran people-carrier.
The new model, which goes on sale in September, features front-end styling borrowed from the Polo and Golf models. Inside are minor trim changes and a new look centre console.
Under the bonnet, Volkswagen has introduced the 105bhp 1.2-litre turbocharged petrol engine which is used in the Audi A3.
Elsewhere in the range are a 1.4 TSI petrol with 140bhp and two diesel engines in four differing power outputs: a 1.6 TDI with either 90 or 105bhp, and a 2.0 TDI in 140 or 170bhp guises.
The 1.2 petrol and 1.6 TDI 105 can also be ordered with BlueMotion Technology trim which adds start/stop technology to reduce emissions.
Prices and further details will be announced closer to the September on-sale date.
