Van drivers to get better service

Vauxhall van drivers are to benefit from a much-improved level of service from a new group of specialist dealers.

The manufacturer has expanded its network of MasterFit Premier Service Centres (PSC) across the UK from just two sites in April to 100 now.

PSC dealers will offer a host of services aimed at keeping the company's range of vans (Corsavan, Astravan, Combo, Vivaro and Movano) and their drivers off the road for as little time as possible.

Among the improvements is a pledge that vehicles will be booked in for a service within 72 hours of the initial request, while fault diagnosis will be carried out within one hour of the van arriving at the dealership, even if it is without an appointment.

Other improvements include MoT testing for Class 7 vehicles (vans between 3-3.5 tonnes gross vehicle weight), job sheets completed on the same day and invoices sent out within five working days, tyre fitting and a collection and delivery service within a 10-mile radius of the dealer (five miles within the M25).
