The Frankfurt Motor Show, one of the biggest events in the automotive calendar, has wrapped up for another year and Parkers has been there in force taking a look at all the new cars that will soon be making their way to UK shores.

Audi A4 Avant
Order books for the new Audi A4 have just opened for both the popular saloon and this, the Avant estate.
Lighter and up to 21 percent more efficient than before, the new A4 Avant showcases the latest in infotainment, safety and comfort technology as well as offering a large 505-litre boot.
P11D prices start from £27,245 and you’ll be able to pick the new car in three trims: SE, Sport and S-Line. Entry-level SE cars come equipped with LED daytime running lamps, three-zone climate control, cruise control, rear parking sensors, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto platforms and a seven-inch infotainment screen.
A range of engines will be available from launch, key for company car drivers will be the 147bhp 2-litre TDI ultra diesel which offers an impressive combined fuel economy of 74.3mpg and CO2 emissions of 99g/km meaning a 17 percent BIK tax band for the current 2015/16 tax year.
First deliveries for the new A4 Avant are expected to start in November.

Kia Optima
Shown for the first time in Europe at the show, the all-new Kia Optima will play an important role in Kia’s product line-up, and reignite its appeal with company car drivers.
Set to go on sale before the end of the year, the second-generation Optima will rival key company car players like the Ford Mondeo and Volkswagen Passat.
Longer, taller and wider than the previous model, engine and gearbox revisions along with a lighter and more aerodynamic body has resulted in lower CO2 emissions and improved economy figures.
Key for company car drivers will be the 1.7-litre diesel carried over from the previous model, offering CO2 emissions as low as 110g/km slotting into a 20 percent BIK tax band for the current 2015/16 year.

MINI Clubman
One to watch in the fleet industry, the MINI Clubman will offer a practical and stylish alternative to company car heavyweights like the Audi A3, Volkswagen Golf and BMW 1 Series.
Significantly longer and wider than the car it replaces, the Clubman also has a practical 360-litre boot, 100 litres up on the previous generation.
You’ve got three versions of Clubman to pick from, Cooper, Cooper D and Cooper S, the Cooper D is likely to appeal to company cars the most thanks to the efficient 148bhp four-cylinder 2-litre diesel engine under its bonnet which emits 109g/km of CO2 and offers an official combined fuel consumption of 68.9mpg.
With its P11D price of £22,210, it’ll cost a 20 percent tax payer £70 a month in BIK.
First deliveries of the new MINI Clubman are expected to start in November.

Alfa Romeo Giulia
Poised to rival the likes of the BMW 3 Series, Audi A4 and Jaguar XE, Alfa Romeo has revealed its new compact executive saloon, the Giulia.
The long-awaited replacement for the 159, design played a key role in the development of the Giulia and the new car will be available with rear-wheel drive or four-wheel drive as an option.
Set to go on sale in Spring 2016, we’re yet to have full details on pricing, engines or specifications, however we’re expecting a frugal 2.2-litre diesel to form part of the engine line-up along with a 335bhp 3-litre V6 diesel.

BMW X1
The BMW X1 has been a surprise success story for the German manufacturer and has already found 40,000 homes in the UK since it was launched back in 2009.
This latest generation has grown by 53mm offering more interior space than before and a 85-litre bigger boot than its predecessor.
A variety of kit ideal for company car drivers is available across the four trims including sat-nav, an automatic tailgate, air-con, keyless entry and automatic lights and wipers available on all models.
Featuring an all-new range of engines and gearboxes, plus a new version of the xDrive all-wheel-drive system, the second generation of the BMW X1 will be available with one petrol engine and three diesels with CO2 emissions as low as 114g/km for the 148bhp sDrive18d – slotting into a 20 percent BIK tax band for the current 2015/16 tax year.
The BMW X1 goes on sale 24 October, 2015. Prices will be announced at a later date.
