Volkswagen has unveiled a new version of its Sharan seven-seat people carrier.
Due to go on sale in the UK later this year, the new Sharan features twin sliding side doors and a fully adjustable interior whereby seats can be folded flat into the floor to create more luggage space.
Featuring the new Volkswagen family face which debuted on the Golf and Polo, new Sharan comes with a choice of four engines - two TSI petrols in 1.4-litre 150bhp and 2.0-litre 200bhp guises, and two TDI diesels: both 2.0-litre engines in either 140 or 170bhp specification.
The latter two engines emit 143g/km and 152g/km of CO2 , while returning 52.3mpg and 49.5mpg respectively.
Prices will announced nearer to the Sharan launch in the summer.Expect prices to start around £20,000.
