The Honda Civic is the most reliable company car, while BMW produces the most reliable range of cars, according to the UK's biggest vehicle reliability survey.
The survey, carried out by Parker's sister publication Fleet News, covered 840,000 cars and 183,000 vans run by the UK's 50 largest contract hire and leasing companies.
Each company rated vehicles according to the number of breakdowns per 1000 vehicles on their fleets.
Each of the top five cars were either Hondas or BMWs, while the two marques were tied on scores for the most reliable manufacturers.
However, BMW was given the nod over Honda because more companies put it in first place.
Stephen Briers, editor of Fleet News said: 'This survey is the largest of its kind in the country and is based on feedback from those who really know about the reliability of vehicles - people who run hundreds of thousands of vehicles over many hundreds of thousands of miles.'
The Ford Transit was voted the most reliable van, with Ford awarded the most reliable van manufacturer title.
