The Match version replaces the previous SE trim level and adds Park Assist, Bluetooth hands-free, iPod connector, climate control, DAB radio and a leather multi-function steering wheel. Despite the extra kit, the Match versions cost just £250 more than the SE. Match models also come with 17-inch alloy wheels, CD autochanger, ESP stability control and heat insulating glass as standard. Four engine options are offered - a 1.4-litre petrol delivering 150bhp, a 2.0-litre petrol with 170bhp, and a 2.0-litre TDI diesel with either 140 or 170bhp. A pair of front-wheel drive BlueMotion Technology low emission versions are also being offered - a 2.0 TDI 140 diesel with CO2 emissions of 139g/km and a 1.4 TSI 150 petrol with 156g/km. The former falls into the 19% benefit-in-kind tax band, while the petrol model is taxed at 20% of its list price. Prices for the Tiguan Match range start at £22,110 and rise to £25,300.
