Want to know everything there is to know about this car?

In their own words

I am very glad not to have the very low profile tyres on other models and chose to avoid these. Reported poor ride in the press is utter nonsense. May be low profile tyres are the cause of these comments. The ride is still very good after 65000 miles. Headlights could be brighter on dipped beam. Interior has worn well so far. Paintwork is good and has resisted chips better than many company cars and a VW I have owned. This car seems to be a very sound item. I have read that the automatic climate control on Sport versions can be an issue. Superb long distance cruiser, smooth and very quiet. No back ache from the seats either. On along run driven gently around 50 - 70mph nearly 90mpg has been achieved. Long runs at up to 70mph yield 64mpg and regular fast commuting 51+mpg. At a steady 70mph the computer says 87mpg which seems quite believable. Tows an 1100kg caravan with ease.

How reliable do you find the car?

Bomb proof. Tyres lasted 35000 front and 65000 rear. Brakes lasted 63000 front and ^%000+ rear. Zero oil used.

Does the car do everything you expected it to do?

My expectations were average and the car has exceeded them in every department. Occasional towing taken in its stride. Fuel consumption astonishingly good.
