In their own words

At the turn of the millennium Ford gave us the Zetec-S, this fun little pocket rocket gave the driver a great feeling. The handling excels Ford's Fiesta based coupe model the Puma. These Fiestas were the last ones to be built on the famous XR2 chassis, it was also the last ever production vehicle to be built and assembled in the Historical Dagenham factory. The mk5's were the last of the classic Fiesta's after this model, Ford redesigned what other's stated a dated chassis. I believe this Fiesta will go under the radar as a classic vehicle, as prices are still very reasonable considering the fun it delivers. The Zetec-S feels just like the XR2 with same power output and engine size and drivetrain. It may not have the exact classic style of the XR2 but you can see the XR2 in its design and most certainly its drive experience. The characteristics of this Fiesta Zetec-S point to the classic car market, it is only a matter of time now when this 2 year production vehicle will hit a classic car status.
