I feel bad about the 3 star rating I just gave it.... but I wish I bought the Seat Ibiza Cupra. Whilst the Fiesta ST famously outshines the Ibiza for hot hatch thrills, it's ride is just too harsh! The interior layout (and Sony stereo) is just messy to look at. In fact the whole car is just childish.... and yet.... on the right road, in the right mood.... I have to concede that nothing else will do. The "zip" from that engine in 3rd gear from 35mph to 70mph is just great, along with that "farty burble" from the exhaust.... throw it round a corner and it's just great! The problem comes when you realise that I only drive like that around 5% of the time. I reckon the Ibiza Cupra (or Polo GTI) works better day to day (better ride and more "grown up" interior lay out).
How reliable do you find the car?
I hate TPMS (tyre pressure monitoring system)! Who invented this? Sack him. I have had two cars with TPMS... the valves in the wheel are very sensitive to leaking through over-tightening etc.....Does the car do everything you expected it to do?
I have to say.... it's the first "modern" Ford I've owned.... I'm impressed. Well engineered, decent quality, very reliable!About their car
