Want to know everything there is to know about this car?

In their own words

My 2010 Focus 1.6 Titanium TDCI (EURO 5 emissions + DPF) has averaged 52 mpg over the 2.5 years I've owned it. Mixture of 50/50 city versus motorway driving. I'm tall (6 foot 2") with big feet. The seating position, headroom, widely spaced pedals and fully adjustable steering wheel fit me like a glove. Massive boot. Car will cruise all day at 70 mph effortlessly. + Heated front seats (bliss!) + Cruise control. (I use it a lot. It can drive itself more economically than I can and it saves fuel). + Sony DAB radio (much more choice of channels) and crystal clear sound. Awesome bass. + Tinted glass looks great. Handy in summer. + Key less entry and push button start (initially I though it was a bit gimmicky, but is actually rather useful). + Heated front screen + Auto dimming mirror + Auto wipers (OK, but not infallible) + Auto lights (OK, but not infallible plus the lights are on a surprising amount of time versus manual) - Tinted glass is very difficult to see through at night time when reverse parking. - 21 spoke Titanium alloys are a pain to clean. - No parking sensors on mine.

How reliable do you find the car?

Other than 4 new tyres, new wiper blades and a couple of bulbs, the only thing that need replacing was the original Ford battery which was replaced by the AA. Didn't let me down at the side of the road though. Thumbs up! TIP: If yours has the clear "honeycomb" lenses at the rear - replace the brake light and indicator bulbs. The colour comes off after about 4 years (due to heat), resulting in pinky tail/stop lights and wishy washy indicator colours.

Does the car do everything you expected it to do?

It ticked all the boxes I had at the time. Bought for economy and cheap running costs, it hasn't disappointed. Coming from a 13 year old 1.6 petrol Astra, my Focus has halved my monthly fuel bill. My short list was a Golf 1.6 TDI, Honda Civic 2.2 CTDi or Focus 1.6 TDCI. The Focus Style was too vanilla and basic. The Focus Zetec I didn't like the black plastic stripes on the front seats. The Titanium had a much better interior and had all the options I wanted.
