What does this car say about you?

With the front fogs in the front bumper, it's a pretty looking car in supersonic blue.Slightly different from the everybody else's car so it says.. i don't run with the pack.

What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?

They like the look of it, and appreciate how practical it has been... i've used it for ferrying my kids, self and wife to work, and for transporting lots of building materials too, and it's been great.

Would you buy this car again and why?

Yes,but in the 16v 5 door, because it is a better engine, and the kids would appreciate their own doors. However, the 5 door is a little uglier.

What are you likely to buy next?

    nothing just yet.

yes. This was a px, and was stuck with them for a while, it being an off beat type of car.Always barter with these garage boys, you can't offend them by offering them a silly deal, they're very thick skinned.

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?

    What was the dealer like?

ok, but slightly less than totally honest.

  • Driving it

    What's it like to drive?

Very quiet.High revving so you'll get the engine doing 3500rpm at 70 mph, which will get you searching for the 6th gear, which it doesn't have.

    What's it like to park?

    Very easy.

Have you had any problems with the car?

Yes. The rear diif made a slight graunch on purchase. Always check on test drive by putting a hard lock on, and driving slowly both forwards and reverse. You can replace the diff oil and reduce/remove the noise if you're lucky, but if you buy one with this fault prepare to fork out hundreds of pounds for a repair. I would advise walking away, and keeping your money.HOWEVER....that is the only fault i have had!!! ... and just in case you're wondering, i knew i had the fault, and have just driven the car and put up with the graunch.

What's most practical about your car?

Very reliable and practical.Increased ride height is great for wet Devon lanes.Seats four and two kids and two dogs. With the seats down you'll fit pallets in the rear.

    Favourite gadget, option or accessory?

Retractable wing mirrors.Great for country lane car passing.
