Honda HR-V (1999 - 2005) 1.6 4WD 5d Owner Review

I bought this car from a friend for £1000 and it's been spot on for the 8000 miles I've done in it so far and I have had some work done to it which is age related (2 new wheel bearings £240). It's got a few little niggles such as the passenger door doesn't always automatically lock/open and the drivers automatic electric window sometimes decides to just go up and down as it sees fit. I'm sure it's a really simple fix but I've just not got round to doing it. Great fun to drive, really easy, lots of visibility, easy to park, can be quite bouncy but I like that! Goes round corners well and engine and gearbox are still perfect to say it's done 100k. I seem to be going through quite a lot of oil (about 1 litre ever 1500 miles) it's not leaking or coming out of the exhaust so I can only assume that's just the amount of oil that it uses. All my friends and family love it, just wish it was a bit more powerful and wish it was a 5 seater.
