What does this car say about you?

I'm not quite sure what the car says about me and, I'm really not that bothered.

What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?

Most like it but, as saloon drivers, think it a bit on the big side. No complaints from front or rear seat passengers about the comfort or ride, just about my driving!

Would you buy this car again and why?

Yes, I'd buy again as it does what it's meant to and is good off road (a necessity for me). It won't stop me looking around at other models though and will depend on the deal I can get at the time.

What are you likely to buy next?

Don't know but, it will be 4x4 with off road capability and a minimum 2 tonne towing capacity.

Type of dealer you bought from?

    Franchised

Did you buy this car new?

    No

    What price did you pay?

    £27,000

When did you buy the car?

    April 2013

Did you get a good deal and why?

I had been looking to replace a 4x4 for some time but was not desperate. The dealer realised this and came to me on my terms. he also needed to offload his demonstrator so there was a benefit to him as well.

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?

Ex Demonstrator, right price, best deal available.

    What was the dealer like?

Uber professional, knew his stuff and didn't try to hoodwink me.

  • Driving it

    4 out of 5 4.0

    What's it like to drive?

Drives like a car. Sure footed, comfortable and very easy. Switches, buttons etc are all very accessible except for the front and rear fog light switches whico squint down past the lower right quadrant of the steering wheel.

    What's it like to park?

I can't look over my shoulder due to an old whiplash injury but, the mirrors are big enough to be able to see clearly what's behind both a ground level and full height of the vehicle. Parking sensors also assist this but, tend to be a little oversensitive.

Have you had any problems with the car?

One or two minor problems, rear washer jet leaked, condensation in rear light cluster, rear number plate fell off, twice! All fixed under warranty.

What's most practical about your car?

2 tonne towing limit (3 would be better) good off road capability, comfortable and refined on road.

    Favourite gadget, option or accessory?

Rear load space cover fits accross foot well between front and rear seats so when you need all the back for something big you can put the cover out of the way without having to leave it behind or ballance it on top of the load!
