Mercedes-Benz C-Class Saloon (2014 - 2021) C220d AMG Line 4d Auto Owner Review

My c class is made in South Africa,not in Germany.They won't tell you this when you buy the car.When I discovered that " what difference does it make? ". Forget about the "premium" badge. My car was delivered with scratches in the dashboard, steering wheel ,incorrect tyre pressure and loads of other "minor"issues. After all sorted, the infotainment screen started to rattle, alongside rattling noises coming from the cluster and the dashboard.Numerous visits to the garage, replacing air vents,putting " tape " in the cluster, replacing door seals.After 15 visits in less than a year, now they have to remove the dashboard to fix the air vents motors.( they kept selling the car with faulty air vents and they knew it ). Shocking response from Mercedes Benz UK, will give you £150 ponds for your inconvenience ... Some of the rattles are still there and Mercedes UK says it's a " comfort issue " , nothing wrong with the car... So if you are aiming for a comfort drive, forget about Mercedes. I think it's a beautiful car with a very poor build quality ... Rest of Europe gets the c class made in Germany , only the UK get's the one made in South Africa...Bad move. Will never buy mercedes again.
