In their own words

I read the reviews when i bought by first one in 2008 and now feel ready to leave my own. My first one was an early 2006 viano and i quickly learnt, the pre 2008 have electrical issues, i had issues with alarm going off, key not working, interior lights staying on and all needing star diagnostics to sort. The second was another 2.2, 2009 model but with parking sensors, a must really, it only had a speed sensor that needed replacing, i think it had a new throttle peddle after limp home mode issue. At this point I learnt that the 3 litre marries better with the 5 speed auto box and that was the next car. My 3rd a 2013 bigger engine 3 litre what a difference the face lift model is, from 61plate the 224bhp has the same road tax as the 2.2 (beware the 60plate 226bhp is £595 road tax) I discovered that the facelift model is a much better ride, the suspension improvements are evident and the ride cabin noise is a lot quieter, yes it's a van but nowhere near the van ride we had from the early models. The rear camera a is great, the 3.0 acceleration is savage and the economy better than the 2.2. So my note is go for it, don't worry about the miles as long as it's been maintained properly and take it to MB van/truck dealer for servicing and buy good tyres, they will be quieter continentals worked for me
