MG Motor UK MG3 1.5 VTi-TECH 3Style 5d Owner Review

I've been very happy with it. Served its purpose well and beats allcomers on value for money. During the service the mechanic said it drove better than the new Mini which is twice the price. Even convinced my daughter to buy one. Unfortunately I've just had my first breakdown. Local garage couldn't find the fault so were unable to sort it. Dealer who sold is no longer a dealer as no support from MG. My next nearest dealer is going to pull out for the same reason. Tried phoning MG themselves but there is never an answer. submitted online query, that failed, sent email and no response. Rumour has it, its the timing belt and you need a specialist jig to check it which most garages do not have. Given the MG lack of response I will never buy another MG.
