Overview

The Mitsubishi Evo has built up a cult following as a rally-bred performance car capable of astonishing acceleration and superb handling. The tenth incarnation, or X as Mitsubishi badges it, builds on this reputation but adds some much needed refinement and comfort. It’s designed to be more stylish, sophisticated and grown-up – and consequently aims to tempt buyers considering the likes of the BMW M3. It’s certainly better looking than previous models and much easier to live with everyday thanks to a softer ride and lighter steering. Plus for the first time there’s the option of an automatic gearbox which includes steering wheel-mounted paddle shifts.
