The latest Ford Fiesta is the cheapest Ford ever to insure – and that’s official.
Latest insurance group ratings show that 90 per cent of new Fiesta models are cheaper to insure than before, with the remaining 10 per cent staying the same.
This is great news for younger Fiesta buyers as lower insurance groupings means cheaper premiums.
And that's not all: with prices starting at £8695 the new Fiesta undercuts the previous entry model by £155.
Parker’s expects the typical residual value increase of around £1000 ranging from £700 for the Zetec 1.4-litre TDCi to £1175 on the Titanium 1.6-litre petrol.
Ford also claims that owners of the 1.4-litre Duratorq TDCi model will save a tank of fuel over an average of 9300 miles and with the Econetic exempt from road tax the savings of the range just keep on coming.
