For the price you can pay for a used nissan almera it is a car worth looking into. Theres decent equipment and it feels well screwed together. The 1.5 liter petrol offers great fuel economy with a good turn of power when needed if looked after and serviced properly you will rearly get engine trouble and if it does happen you can connect with your diy roots as the car is simple to work on. For driving the car it corners flat and gives you a good deal of confidence when you want to blast down the b roadsand is easy to drive on long journeys thanks to the car being comfortable i will say however the dashboard does take time to get used to and they could have bern less spartan on rear leg room but all thungs considered the almera is a reliable, cheap, comfortable, and fun daily driver
How reliable do you find the car?
Since owning the car its only needed a track rod end fixed and a lose heat shield other than that nothing majorDoes the car do everything you expected it to do?
For a car i bought for 900 pound i was expecting a nightmare but my little almera has survived long journeys and after a full terra clean and petrol injector flush and a full service it runs like it came of the production line i get great fuel economy and it does it all in comfort and styleAbout their car
