Nissan needs to listen to its customers, however their customer service is apathetic! My car has numerous repeated concerns and I can't even get customer service to get motivated and involved. All issues get referred to the dealer who are just as critical. My dealer has been good but my problems are on going . To sum up , yes it's a good but expensive car that's built down to a price and boy does it show . Four different cars all exhibiting many of the same problems. Nissan you are building poor quality into your cars . As for the car in general . It's comfortable and economical but the halogen headlights are pathetic, the horn deserves to live on a child's to and if you want a decent heater then don't bother with a diesel. Customer service answer to all this . The Qashqai meets its design intent . I wont be shopping at Nissan again .

How reliable do you find the car?

As I high mileage owner I was sold on the press claim of solid reliability and build quality. Maybe the old models were well built but these new ones definitely are not . In terms of reliability the car and dealer is good with only some parking sensors , and infotainment system and an alternator replaced to date .

Does the car do everything you expected it to do?

So this is a quality car that sits in the junior German car price bracket .? Worst car ever for delivery and build quality!!!! To date I have this car , my wife has the same car but on a 16 plate and I have been lent 2 brand new Qawhqai when mine were being repaired. ALL of them exhibited the same rattles and squeaks . Clearly any feedback back from the dealers is not being heeded by the manufacturer! To date the following rattles , centre dash , instrument cluster , glovebox , drivers front seal belt reel , dash above glovebox , bonnet security , air cleaner , passenger front door and a heat shield some where that no one can identify the location of its noise . Quality car ? No
