Doesn't have much money and is more concerned about toys and looks than reliabilty!!
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
That it is a nice car, but we're clearly mental for buying a Peugeot!!

No - Peugeot reliability.

VW Golf I would imaging (if we've got any money left!).

Did you get a good deal and why?
On face value we got a good deal - it was within our budget, had good equipment levels, decent fuel economy (on paper) and in the colour we wanted - it was one of only two south of Birmingham on Auto Trader and eBay at the time.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
Looks, economy and equipment.
What was the dealer like?
No dealer, but the private seller was a pleasure to deal with.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Goes like a rocket when turbo and engine are working. Very crashy over potholes, lovely on motorways. Cornering is amazing - the best I've ever experienced (but them I'm used to driving a Vectra Estate!!).
What's it like to park?
Nice and compact, but the C pillars do make reversing hazardous! Parking Sensors would have been a nice addition - but I guess you can't have it all!

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Yes - "Unblock Diesel Filter" error message within days of buying the car. Two visits to the garage and £600 later we are still getting the same error message - back to the garage then! Turbo doesn't always kick in and MPG is nowhere near advertised (probably both due to the error message). Also, the drivers side electric window switch broke last week!
What's most practical about your car?
When it's working properly, it does go like a rocket. Automatic windscreen wipers and lights are good.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
This model is packed with good stuff - automatic lights, automatic windscreen wipers, cruise control, climate control, trip computer, 17" alloys - the list is amazing for a car that can be bought for £3.5k.
