In their own words

After previously owning a 206 some years ago I vowed to never touch a Peugeot again - yet here I am! I was after something newer and more technologically advanced than my 2008 plate Ka which had seen better days. I loved the look of the 308 and the equipment level was very high in comparison to its sale price. I found this 2010 model which had only 1 owner and 48,000 miles. It is in mint condition. Unfortunately, that's where the majority of the good points end. The ride is so unbelievably hard - its tiresome. The gearbox is so vague and notchy which means it makes you think twice before actually wanting to change gear!! There are also numerous rattles and creaks from the boot area - all pin pointing the poor quality of French cars yet again. In a nutshell. This car handles extremely well for its size. Its glued to the road. Its also an excellent cruiser and the engine packs a lot of punch when needed. However, the build quality, hard ride and awful gearbox really do let it all down. Top Tip: Spend the extra and get a Focus or Golf!
