Un-opinionated about it.

Would you buy this car again and why?

No, only because I like to change cars, this is my 9th car in 13 years of driving (and up there as one of the best).

What are you likely to buy next?

Another estate. If I have my sensible hat on it'll be a Skoda Superb or Volvo V70. If I can afford the running costs then a Focus ST3.

Did you get a good deal and why?

Yes, was more concerned about offloading my Fiat Grande Punto which I'd not particularity looked after!

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?

Good value for money and very well spec'ed.

What was the dealer like?

Broughts from Grays in Chatham, been established since the 30's I believe. It was my first time using them and I would again, gave a very trustworthy impression unlike a lot of 2nd car dealers.

What's it like to drive?

Fun, considering its a family hatchback based diesel estate car. I had a Mk2 Focus and that was certainly the benchmark for handling but I don't believe this is too far behind it, has plenty of grip meaning you have confidence trowing it into corners. I've yet to get under-steer from it in the dry. With 110bhp its not under-powered and keeps up with traffic fine but that's about as good as it gets, could do with another 20-30bhp to make it a bit more fun. On motorways its fantastically quite, doing 80mph you can have a conversation with the person next to you without having to raise your voice.

What's it like to park?

Easy enough, although unlike most estates it has a sloping rear so can be a little tricky to judge when to stop reversing into a space.

Have you had any problems with the car?

No, been fault free for 2 years and approx 22000 miles, superb reliability.

What's most practical about your car?

Very good sized boot, front passenger seat also folds flat giving just over 2m of load length, proved very useful on trips to Ikea! Seats are very comfortable to.

Favourite gadget, option or accessory?

Keyless entry and go. I leave the house put the key in my work bag or a pocket and never need to get it out again, very useful when approaching the car with both hands full. Before I brought the car always thought they were a bit of a gimmick but would struggle to go back to a conventional key as demonstrated by the fact that I often leave my wife's Corsa unlocked when I use it!
